CB Inner PicChristopher Boccella, a Senior Project Manager at Macro Consultants, brings over 20 years of diverse experience as an architect, construction manager and owner’s representative. With a focus in collaborative conception, design and implementation of complex projects in academic, corporate and institutional settings, Chris assists clients in achieving project goals and aspirations.

Most recently, Chris served as Development Director and Senior Project Manager for CVMNEXT, a specialty construction firm focused on integrated delivery of complex and highly detailed projects. Working closely with owners, users, architects, and builders, Chris provided thoughtful leadership to collaborative teams through the full project cycle. His institutional clients include the Philadelphia Zoo, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, the Pennsylvania Audubon Society and the Philadelphia Outward Bound School. Additionally, Chris led multi-discipline teams in campus environments including Swarthmore College, Temple University, West Chester University and the Martha’s Vineyard Museum.

As a builder and construction manager, Chris also has experience with large scale projects, having served as Architectural Project Manager with Turner Construction for the Brooklyn Supreme and Family Courthouse. This 32-story building in downtown Brooklyn includes 1.1 million square feet of space and was developed through a unique partnership between developer Forest City Ratner and the City of New York. Managing all architectural trades, Chris served as liaison between Turner, developer, owner and Perkins Eastman Architects – helping to ensure that the finished projects met all requirements and were completed on time and within budget.

Chris is a registered architect in the state of New York, and earned Bachelor of Fine Arts and Bachelor of Architecture degrees from the Rhode Island School of Design.
