Darryl Halickman is a Senior Project Manager at Macro Consultants, where clients rely on her versatility and strategy to deliver successful projects, on time and under budget. Darryl’s creativity, unique background and project experience make her an asset to any client, whatever the project type.
Darryl has built a reputation of success through her work with several of the healthcare industry’s leading institutions, such as Winthrop University Hospital and NYU Langone Medical Center (NYULMC). Currently, Darryl is an intrinsic part of the NYULMC Facilities Management team, managing over $20 million in infrastructure projects. These include the re-design and development of Building Management Systems, Flood Mitigation & Hurricane Preparation, user-sensitive Vivarium & Animal Facilities upgrades, implementation of Research & Medical Staff Alarm & Monitoring systems, and campus-wide post-Sandy Restoration projects.
Prior to joining Macro, Darryl was a Project Manager at Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) where she was responsible for tracking all aspects of BAM’s diverse portfolio of capital projects, managing contractors and internal staff, and driving extracurricular performance schedules and exposition preparation. Darryl additionally held positions at McGill University, Les Jardins Prince Arthur, and Gross Kaplin Coviensky Architects, where she planned and executed over 100 capital and deferred maintenance projects.
Darryl earned her Masters of Science degree in Facilities Management from Pratt Institute and her Bachelor of Science & Architecture from McGill University.
