Mark Magilson is Senior Project Manager in Macro Consultants’ Institutional Practice. Mark has over ten years of experience, managing a considerable construction portfolio as Site Supervisor and Project Manager, supervising crews, leading meetings and maintaining quality control throughout the construction site and through all project phases. His areas of expertise include quality control over engineering design, constructability methodologies, budget and schedule coordination, analysis and site logistics.
Most recently Mark was project leader with Two Sigma, an investment management firm. There he managed a considerable construction portfolio of consultants and vendors in Hong Kong and Houston, including over $15 million in capital projects, including Two Sigma’s 250,000 square foot build-out in Manhattan.
Prior to Two Sigma, Mark held positions at Taocon Construction where he supervised $5-$10 million dollar residential projects, and Conti Enterprises where as a field engineer he worked on the NJ Turnpike exit 15X in Secaucus. During his four years at Taocon, Mark was Site Supervisor and Project Manager, supervising crews upwards of 30 trade workers. Mark first became interested in construction and project management when he served as a trustee on numerous public construction for the Bank of New York.
Mark currently manages multiple projects for NYU Langone Medical Center including the $266 million dollar Energy Building, a campus cogeneration facility. He earned a Masters of Arts in Construction Management from Stevens Institute of Technology.
